Botanic Gardens extended family shoot

I really love extended family shoots – it’s a great chance to capture so many combinations together. The grandparents with the grandkids, cousins together, adult siblings, as well as the individual families within the larger one. Generally you need a minimum of 1.5 hours, or if you can extend it to 2 hours it gives the chance for some ‘candid’ or less structured photos too. The family below chose the longer option and I captured some magic photos without them noticing, or even just with the more relaxed feel you can sometimes achieve when all the ‘essentials’ have been ticked off the list.
